Our vision is for a society that tells the stories of the Edwardson name, and those of the people who bear /have borne it; that researches its origins; and provides a collaborative space for everyone interested in Edwardson family history to come together.

As Edwardsons, we share a rare surname with multiple origins. Our families can be found all over the world. As far as we can tell, we do not count Lords or Ladies amongst our ancestors. We do not hail from nobility or gentry, but from ordinary people raised on farms beside the Mersey, on the windswept shores of Shetland and the icy fjords of Norway. We have been extraordinary things - soldiers and sailors, miners, explorers, priests, fathers and mothers. The stories of our ancestors deserve to be uncovered and to be told with pride. Here, we can tell them together.
